Event Description

TOPIC: SOCIAL NETWORKING AND NEXT-GENERATION INTELLIGENCE:
Social networks and the Internet have permanently changed how individuals and organizations communicate. So too will intelligence change - permanently.

From collection to analysis to dissemination, intelligence professionals and their allies in leadership positions must explore how social media will change how we make decisions, in 2010 and beyond.

FEATURED SPEAKER: YOU

Here’s how the Intelligence Collaborative works: We put together a room filled with experts on intelligence, innovators in information management, and decision makers and get them all talking. Intelligence is changing fast due to social media and rapidly evolving institutions, so we need to share ideas, scuttlebutt, and best practices. You will walk out better informed on the state of the art in social media, and its impact on intelligence within organizations. We will get to hear your point of view on the matter.

This inaugural dialogue will be shaped by your hosts: intelligence thoughtleaders August Jackson, Arik Johnson, and Eric Garland.

Come, learn, share, and meet some of the most interesting people in one of the most cutting-edge fields in the world.

FEATURED BAR: OPEN

That's right, the evening's festivities are most kindly sponsored by the following intelligence-focused organizations:

Harris Interactive
Digimind
Aurora WDC
KappaWest
Fuld & Company

Indeed Richard you seem pretty well covered as far as information retrieval is concerned. What about analysis, sharing, collaboration with others? What about aggregating those feeds together? Any insights would be helpful.

I use e-sobi. It is a rss and podcast feed reader. I can add the feeds I want, I can store pages for later use, I can set alerts. Seems to be more powerful than the free readers. SInce you can organize it the way you want, it provides a way to quick…
