Program Manager (Lead Project Water Engineer) 

Requirements: 

· Pr Eng – Civil Engineering – (Chartered Civil Engineers) 

· 10 to 15 Years experience on international projects 

· Program management experience of large water supply and hydropower projects 

· Extensive experience in: 

o Planning and design 

o Setting up and implementing control systems for large and complex infrastructure 

programs 

o Construction of medium to large civil projects (Hydro-electric facilities (essential), treatment plants, large-diameter pipelines, dams, tunneling, reservoirs, pump stations) 

· Leading and managing of similar assignments in developing countries 

· Proficiency in program, construction, management and implementation including program-controls, cost estimating and risk management 

· Knowledge, experience and understanding of program controls including web-based systems for scheduling, financial tracking, reporting and document management 

· Dealing with international civil works contractors 

· Ability to lead complex teams of professionals, sub-consultants and sub-contractors 

· English essential 

· Computer literacy: MS Projects, Primavera 6, Civil Designer 

· Assistance with visa, accommodation and living expenses 

Position based within South African borders – US based company 

Package: $150 000 per annum negotiable
