If you see India, there are many challenges for companies providing CI services. But there is a need to conduct workshops, seminars and conferences to remove the mental blocks of business conglomerates. In India CI is seen more as some investigative and espionage work rather than a tool effectively striking the right balance between market place and competition.

Nope - not the Straits Times. But thanks for the link. Will do some more digging, and let you know if I find it. Thanks for your help.

It may have been the Straits Times. Here is a link to a site that provides a good list of news sources by country (Singapore is the current selection).

There certainly are some challenges when dealing with SE Asia. I've worked from a base in Australia for some years, and I used to have a really good press newsfeed (a freebie) that originated in (I think) Singapore - although it may have been HK. Problem is, I just can't remember who it was. I don't think it was the Straits Times - but it was web based. Any ideas anyone?

I am enjoying the book, still working through it with all my other reading, but I like the practicality of it. Practitioners of the art need more than academic treaties on the subject. And thanks for making it a Kindle selection--when you travel aro…

Well getting a clean feed takes a combination of good web-sources and appropriate taxonomy-based semantic filters. It seems your friend's RSS is clean and thus it may be worth to look at his/her taxonomy. Any insight?

Indeed Richard you seem pretty well covered as far as information retrieval is concerned. What about analysis, sharing, collaboration with others? What about aggregating those feeds together? Any insights would be helpful.

I use e-sobi. It is a rss and podcast feed reader. I can add the feeds I want, I can store pages for later use, I can set alerts. Seems to be more powerful than the free readers. SInce you can organize it the way you want, it provides a way to quick…
