As a decision enablement tool, CI allows decision makers to choose from a range of options that allow them to maximize their assets, manage life cycles and allocate resources efficiently. CI can provide business managers with alternatives and contingencies and allow for dynamic and evergreen planning. Out of CI comes opportunities to accelerate advantages, blunt threats, and in the optimal case, change the rules of engagement.
