So far so good in fact - we brought our partners Comintelli and KappaWest with us this time and really had a nice reception - Lion Wang is doing a great job locally and we're easing into things. See you next time and I'll let you know if something materializes you might help with.
Cheers,

Hi Laura - I'm in Shanghai another 24 hours (leaving at dawn November 18) but missed you at Prof. Miao's dinner last night - I'd assumed I'd see you there so sorry I haven't gotten in touch earlier. Care to connect for a drink tonight and catchup or is it too short notice? If you can't, I'll be back soon enough so don't rearrange anything on my account.
I also miss the rain! I'm an ex-Londoner, living and working in CI in Israel for the last x years (well since 1976). I heard you at the last Atelis meeting in Lisbon. Will you be in Stockholm in June?
I also actually mentioned you to a couple of Info ladies here in Israel last week at a business information conference here in Tel Aviv, as they have an potential interest in China.
Their names are Rina Arad, and Idit Ophir, and their company is called Arad-Ophir (among other things they represent Lexis here in Israel).
Hi Laura,
Thanks for your message. Yes, we offer our full suite of services across Asia Pacific including throughout China although, depending on what is required, our coverage is better in bigger cities.
Most of our work in China is conducting supplier audits for US and European consumer goods companies. However, we are doing a number of marketing support activities including retail quality audits for two multi-national consumer goods companies.
The way we generally work is to firstly design a survey protocol and sampling program, develop the data collection forms and then have our reps pick-up and assess for criteria such as labelling, fill levels, shelf coverage and appearance, merchandising etc for their products and those of competitors. Generally the companies do their own analysis of the results.
We actually don't do a lot of work for competitive intel and market research companies which I would like to change. We could effectively become your "arms and legs" on the ground - we collect the data, you present the analysis and recommendations.
Anyway, please let me know if you have any questions and to let me know if we can help you in any way. You can contact me at s.hather@rqa-inc.com
Thanks again for contacting me. Regards, Steve
