DESCRIPTION:As we consider the economic situation of the past 18 month
 s, the individual and organizational struggles have been the most chal
 lenging in many decades. In that environment, executives at companies 
 across the broad spectrum of industries have had to make very hard cho
 ices about all facets of their businesses, including Competitive Intel
 ligence operations.\n\nThis session will provide a perspective on the 
 CI function amidst significant budgetary pressure and offer suggestion
 s on actions that can be taken to enhance the survivability of the CI 
 function and improve the value and relevance of CI to an organization.
 \n\nPresenter: Timothy Kindler is currently Director of Corporate Comp
 etitive Intelligence at Eastman Kodak Company. He has been in Competit
 ive Intelligence (CI) for fifteen years and has directed Corporate CI 
 at Kodak since 1998. Prior to his career shift into CI, he held a numb
 er of different positions in information systems and equipment manufac
