Defines the competitive intelligence (CI) process and how to use CI to get to the “First Place”—that is winning more business! The CI challenge is two fold: 1st, ethically & objectively collect and analyze CI for each opportunity. 2nd, use this knowledge to drive a winning strategy to fulfill your customers’ needs and wants. Too often capture and proposal strategy is predetermined by “the way we’ve always done it.” Thus we fail to understand why our competition wins the business.
