 rector, Knowledge Management for the Rockefeller Foundation, whose phi
 lanthropic mission is to promote the well-being of people throughout t
 he world. In this position, he is responsible for implementing and man
 aging a centralized function for gathering and accessing all of the Ro
 ckefeller Foundation’s extensive information resources to ensure tha
 t collective knowledge capital is leveraged to support the Foundation
 s operations. Prior to this, Scott created and managed the global bu
 siness intelligence programs at Prudential Retirement (financial servi
 ces), The McGraw-Hill Companies (a publishing and media company), KPMG
  (a professional services firm) and Ingram Micro (a Fortune 100 techno
 logy firm). He began his career as a senior intelligence analyst for t
 he US Army, specializing in East Asian political-military affairs. Sco
 tt holds MAs from The Australian National University and Columbia Univ
 ersity, a BA from Yale University and a language certificate from Beij
