- Requesting advise for a prospective CI Ph.D. student

I am aiming to start a Ph.D. program to specialized in CI.

So far what I have found are Ph.D. or DBA on Business Management with some degree of involvement on CI, Ia m not quite sure this career path is the most recommended...

Could any one advise on Universities or Centers fo Competitive Intelligence, where PhD programs are conducted?

Your adivse will be higly appreciated!
-Luis

I'm excited to share that I will be teaching the two "Published Source Collection" modules again this year. If you would like to improve your secondary research skills, these session may be something of interest.

Job Posting for a Subject Matter Expert in CI for graduate courses at a U.S. university:

Although I don't frequently do this, a job posting I came across a few days ago caught my attention and might be of high interest to our group. I am attaching it, not the least of which because it was so unusual to find someone looking for a graduate level instructor in CI ... the usual caveat applies, that this in no way implies either my implicit or explicit endorsement of either the advertising university or the position.

Established in 1899, South University is a private academic institution dedicated to providing educational opportunities for the intellectual, social and professional development of a diverse student population. South University offers personalized student attention and high-quality undergraduate and graduate programs in business, health professions, and pharmacy across its five campuses and online.

The Subject Matter Expert is responsible for the design and development of online course content in the graduate Competitive Intelligence area. The Subject Matter Expert works closely with a team of South University Academic Affairs personnel, instructional designers, media developers, education experts, and platform developers to create high-quality, outcomes-driven course content within time and resource budget requirements.

As an expert in the Competitive Intelligence topic domain, the Subject Matter Expert develops written deliverables including original course topical content, content for instruction-enhancing media, examples drawn from current professional practice, student assignments, rubrics to assess student assignments, and instructional guidance. In addition, the Subject Matter Expert reviews content developed by the team to ensure that prescribed quality and course objectives are obtained.

Only those candidates who move forward in the process will be contacted and asked to participate in one or more telephone interviews and asked to supply transcripts of all collegiate coursework.
