I am a barrister, military officer and former police officer with a diverse background which, relevantly, includes intelligence analysis. I am also a director of a recently incorporated intelligence and investigations company which I intend to operate on a full-time basis on leaving the military in the near future. I have u/grad quals in law, policing and intelligence analysis and p/grad quals in strategic intelligence, international law, Defence & strategic studies, investigations management and military law. I am married to Emma, a medical general practitioner and have a young son, Nicholas.
My Interest in Competitive Intelligence is:
Whilst the intelligence line-of-operations of my company is generalist in nature, I can see a direct correlation between criminal and strategic intelligence collection and analysis and CI. In that light, I would like to expand into this largely untapped area of intelligence practice in Australia.
