About Me:: Currently I'm a partner in a consulting firm that provides consulting in the areas of business development, marketing and social media. From 2003-2008 I was the Director of Business Development for the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP). Before that I ran marketing operations for several b-to-b publishing companies and my last position in publishing was building an online publishing operation for Atlantic Information Services, a b-to-b publisher in the healthcare field.

I'm based in Lewisville, NC, just outside Winston-Salem, NC and about 70 miles north of Charlotte.

Sad News

I just received an email this morning informing me that Cormac Ryan passed away last Friday after a battle with cancer. Cormac was a long time, active member of SCIP and I had the opportunity to speak with him several times during various events at SCIP, including SCIP08 and the 2007 European Summit in Bad Nauheim. I always enjoyed speaking with him.

A memorial service will be held this Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas.
