I think it is the hastened integration of AI and machine learning into the analytics and software platforms used in supporting research by CI practitioners. Last year it crossed the inflection point... it is now necessary, but not a sufficient way to support our analysis... and yet we (CI pros) have such a long way to go!

Thanks, Yigit. I am seeing the same phenomena. Its never really gone away, but when the global economy starts faltering, it grows in significance accordingly.
