In the process of building an E-Commerce product, what are the tools and techniques to conduct a CI activity for domestic and international market?

Currently we are looking at the industry where the company facilitates customers/consumers to place their orders online. Example: the
retailers.


As we know that the major role is played by the entire supply chain;
that involves Manufacturers, Wholesalers, Suppliers etc. who
participate in this entire purchase process - starting from inventory
till the product is delivered.



There are many competitors existing in market worldwide and I need to know about different countries, their culture, currencies, pricing,
competitors, suppliers, compliance etc



In my opinion "Porter model" seems to define a lot.



Please suggest if I am right or advice me the right tools and techniques to start with this activity.
