Is CTI gaining any traction in the biopharmaceutical industry?

I note, with some alarm, that the last posting to this group was in 2009.  I sense this doesn't bode well for the growth and evolution of CTI, a "community of practice" suggested by Brad Ashton in the July-August 2007 SCIP article.  I'd appreciate your thoughts on activity in CTI plus any pointers to "best practices" within the pharmaceutical industry.
