GDR-IE: a research group on Economic Intelligence created by French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) has organised a workshop in Beaulieu sur Mer-france 25-26 November 2009

This is the 25th and 26th of November 2009, that in the villa Kerylos, the Experts Group of the CNRS in Economic Intelligence, the ESCEM (Business School Tours - Poitiers), the CNRS, CODATA ICSU - the SFBA, AFIE, ATELIS and CIWORLDWIDE organized a Symposium on Models, Methods, Engineering of Competitive Intelligence. This Symposium retraced the work of the group as well as some results presented by foreign participants (USA, Portugal, Luxembourg, Germany, Nigeria, Tunisia).
We will like to thank very much the foundation which manage the Villa Kerylos for their king hospitality. All the particpants appreciated very much the place and its striking image of refinement and beauty.
The last afternoon of the symposium was deveoted to a discussion among the participants about the dev elopment of Competitive Intelligence, Intelligence Economique, Technological suevey in the years to come, in France. The results of this discussion as well as some recommendations will be presented at the end of this article as well as the main scientific production of the Groupe of Experts.

I would have loved to be there. Kerylos is one of the most beautiful buildings i have ever seen. unfortunately the conference was the same date as when i was a visiting scholar at Stanford. if there are any proceedings from the conference, please send a copy
