A great opportunity for those who missed one of Annual Conference's most popular sessions!  Description & Deck Link  below... This interactive session will identify emerging roles for librarians/information professionals as intelligence analysts , open source specialists, & cyber intelligence analysts. The workshop will dissect job descriptions for IAs, compare the competencies of librarians & IAs, & explore training opportunities such as the open source specialist certificate. Reforms in the intelligence community & enhanced recognition of the value of open source/unclassified information (OSINT) can provide new opportunities for you.

Session objectives include: Sharing information about how librarians can make the transition to IAs in the intelligence community; analyzing IA , outlining differences between LIS & IA résumés, discussing analytical tradecraft associated with IAs; & highlighting opportunities for librarians/information professionals & SLA.
