Informal Networks & Human Contact

While online communities  are great -- there's something about live contact that can't be beat.  That's something that's great about conferences, local chapters, CE sources.  However, often those opportunities can be lacking.  Perhaps your schedule didn't match to when a meeting occurred, or the frequency of formal get togethers has been limited by planning resources or the # of local members. 

 

Consider this the place -- once we are more established with more members -- to toss out locations, be they where you live, work, vacation, travel on business -- so forth.  Be it two or ten people -- meet for coffee, take a stroll, do brunch/lunch -- whatever. 

 

I'm inspired by what the folks in CO have established over the years -- you guys know who you are!  If you want to share your tips, that would be great!
