Dear Mr. Olvaso:
Did you receive my email asking for comment on some slides? No need to be polite, I need to know if the comments are on track or totally incorrect...
Dear Mr. Olvaso:
Perhaps email would be a good start, if that is convenient for you. We can then follow up by phone. If you are willing to put down a few bullet points, we can structure a call around that.
Do you use SKYPE? I am a total neophyte with that technology, but when it works, it seems to be OK. Otherwise, phone. Unless you will be in the US, I will not be traveling to Hungary any time soon (though it would be a delightful to do so!!)
Thank you so much for your response. How did you meeting go in October? It was the meeting of the Hungarian chemical society, as I recall (Mavesz, I believe).
Dear Mr. Olvaso:
I am the person who invited you to the Euro Summit on CI in rome, 2008. Unfortunately, dur to a prior commitment, you were unable to attend.
As you may recall, my interest in your company, your industry and your Society was stimulated by the C&E News article by Ms. Pat Short (Jan. 2008). I am now trying to develop a short "example" of successful and innovative strategies of emergin economies, especially where technology is a factor.
I wonder if you would be wiling to have a short exchange on the "follow-up" to Ms. Short's report. Surely new challenges have emrged, including a) rise in petroleum feedstock without concommitant rise in product sales returns, b) new EC regulations affecting your industry (REACH), c) emergence of a new bio-plastics industry, claiming renewable and biodegradable raw materials (eg Novamont, in Italy). While the latter will still have to deal with rising raw material costs (corn demand is increasing for biofuels, animal feed and other uses), they are betting that the "environmental impact" is on their side. How do you see these changes ipacting your industry and whwat, if anything, can you do about it???

Thanks for sending me the link, Arik. Looks interesting, and I am glad to see you got Gabriel Andebjork with you. I am sure if Per Jenster had been at home in Shanghai right now he would have linked to come.
Take care,
