Since 2004 I have been working with Business Intelligence solutions, formerly in the role of end user and currently as a BI and CI business consultant at Dink Intelligence, part of Redwood International Business Group. As challenging as Business Intelligence may be, I felt like there was more. Gradually I started working in the field of Competitive Intelligence, which I have been doing since early 2006.
Unlike BI, Competitive Intelligence is less obvious and less commonly accepted yet. Therefore it's more of a challenge to convince people of the true value of Competitive Intelligence and help companies to get their Competitive Intelligence activities to a higher level.

Well getting a clean feed takes a combination of good web-sources and appropriate taxonomy-based semantic filters. It seems your friend's RSS is clean and thus it may be worth to look at his/her taxonomy. Any insight?
Indeed Richard you seem pretty well covered as far as information retrieval is concerned.
What about analysis, sharing, collaboration with others? What about aggregating those feeds together?
