I replied to this issue which was also raised on linkedin.


I do not agree with the Forbes article.

The issue here is to understand whether you are able to identify Strategic Inflection Points such as New Emerging Technology and Shift in Consumer Perception, if not, then you will always be outflanked and outmaneuvered in the market place.

In the end it is always about Market Retention.
