Techniken zur Vermeidung von Fehlern bei Informationsbeschaffung, -analyse, -reporting und Entscheidungsfindung

Informationen für eine CI-Analyse stammen aus multiplen Quellen, die in unterschiedlichstem Bezug, in unterschiedlicher medialer Form, Nähe und Vertrautheit zu dem Analysten stehen. Glaubwürdigkeit, zeitliche Reihenfolge und Relevanz der Informationen sind nur schwer direkt ermittelbar und ändern sich zudem während des Rechercheverlaufs ständig. Ferner gehören widersprüchliche Informationen und Fehlinformationen zum täglichen Brot des CI-Analysten. Um trotz dieser potenziellen kognitiven Wahrnehmungsfehler und verzerrungen (Biases) hochwertige Ergebnisse generieren zu können, muss der CI-Analyst präventive Tools und Techniken zur Fehlervermeidung sicher anwenden können.
Trifft der CI-Analyst keine Vorkehrungen, droht ihm eine opportunistische Informationsanalyse.
In diesem Workshop werden pragmatische Strategien zur Vermeidung typischer Intelligence-Analysefehler anhand zahlreicher Beispiele erläutert und von den Teilnehmern in Übungen ausprobiert.
