About Me

I am a senior Research Specialist at a large law firm in Washington, DC. I do CI both for my firm administration and clients. I received my Masters in Library Science from the University of Maryland, College Park and my undergrad degree in History from Hamilton College.

Other professional interests include Knowledge Management, SharePoint, Information Management, and libraries.

I'll be speaking on CI in Law Firms at the Special Libraries Association's annual meeting in June.

I believe in the redemption of rock and roll, am an apostle of the Red Sox and Washington Capitals, and am seeking out the best crab cake recipe of the Chesapeake. I read too many blogs, have tried blogging myself too many times, and am curious about Twitter. (I am TMResearch on Twitter if you care to follow me.)

Well said Lance! The irony of CI is that, strategically, it's often best to ignore your competition and concentrate on getting your own act together.
