Tactical, Operational & Strategic Analysis of Markets, Competitors & Industries

I'm looking forward to my first European CI Summit in Amsterdam in November. Interested to know who plans on being there. Also any hotel recommendations since I missed the deadline for the special SCIP rate for the conference hotel?

"A Need for Global Competitive Intelligence Regulation and Protocol"

I refer you to the article "USA Today Article on Corporate Espionage: Time for Damage Control Again?"

The issue is not about damage control now but whether certain laws have been breached in performing Corporate Espionage in the first place.

In ASEAN region, such as Malaysia and Singapore, there are no specific legislation pertaining to the dark side of Competitive Intelligence a.k.a Corporate Espionage.

The Shariah Competitive Intelligence Best Practice though prohibits destructive and unethical Competitive Intelligence activities encompassing all aspects of Corporate Espionage.

Perhaps the "European CI Summit - Amsterdam" could tackle CI issues in EU as a whole and identify whether CI compliance has been achieved.

I stay at the Renaissance Amsterdam. It is a little closer to Central Station and a 5 minute walk from the Krasnapolsky. Can be kinda pricey if you cannot get a corporate rate.

Welcome Angelo, I shall be staying somewhere in Amsterdam, but the venue escapes me and like Arik, Amsterdam is a new venture for me.

Hi Angelo
We are staying at Hotel Amsterdam - De Roode Leeuw, which is a 4 star hotel with very good rates about 200 meters from the conference hotel.
Hope tp see you there!

Hi Angelo - I don't know Amsterdam as well as other cities in Europe, but I'll be there - I'm giving a talk on Asymmetries of Interpretation at 2:30 on November 5th. Are you speaking Angelo?

Well getting a clean feed takes a combination of good web-sources and appropriate taxonomy-based semantic filters. It seems your friend's RSS is clean and thus it may be worth to look at his/her taxonomy. Any insight?

Indeed Richard you seem pretty well covered as far as information retrieval is concerned. What about analysis, sharing, collaboration with others? What about aggregating those feeds together? Any insights would be helpful.

I use e-sobi. It is a rss and podcast feed reader. I can add the feeds I want, I can store pages for later use, I can set alerts. Seems to be more powerful than the free readers. SInce you can organize it the way you want, it provides a way to quick…
