As we consider the economic situation of the past 18 months, the individual and organizational struggles have been the most challenging in many decades. In that environment, executives at companies across the broad spectrum of industries have had to make very hard choices about all facets of their businesses, including Competitive Intelligence operations.
This session will provide a perspective on the CI function amidst significant budgetary pressure and offer suggestions on actions that can be taken to enhance the survivability of the CI function and improve the value and relevance of CI to an organization.
Presenter: Timothy Kindler is currently Director of Corporate Competitive Intelligence at Eastman Kodak Company. He has been in Competitive Intelligence (CI) for fifteen years and has directed Corporate CI at Kodak since 1998. Prior to his career shift into CI, he held a number of different positions in information systems and equipment manufacturing at Kodak.
