Advice on federated search software?

I need some quick advice. I am looking to possibly implement a solution for search on our internal CI portal. The top-line requirement is the need to aggregate search results from multiple vendors of syndicated market research as well as internally-created materials. I would like to hear from my fellow practitioners about the solutions with which they've had success.

Per my earlier emails. 

Our company Deep Web Technologies has developed Explorit a federated search solution which has been developed over 10 years based on rigorous corporate and academic implementations. We have worked with several blue chip companies such as BASF, Intel, P&G and HP to bring them federated search capabilities.

I noticed that no one responded to your request to "aggregate search results from multiple vendors of syndicated market research as well as internally-created materials."   Were you able to find a solution for this?  What did your search yield in terms of CI and federated search?

I have used e-Sobi.  It has promise, but I think you will find it needs modification for our type of work.  I liked using it because it would hit our subscribed sites and sign in with a password.    http://www.esobi.com/
