Join Competitive Intelligence
As a former librarian turned CI person, I welcome you to this group. I've kept my SLA membership active over the years, and have met with some very interesting individuals in the SLA CI group.

I think it's time for more colleagues from the SLA to be aware of and involved in this excellent 'space'.
As I've written here, I've been urging SCIP for years to look at what the SLA were doing, and the response of some (previous) directors was "what's the SLA?"
As SCIP now reaches a critical point in its future (I'm no longer a member for all kinds of reasons some of which I've detailed in these pages), I continue to see the SLA as a wiser, more encompassing organization.
Not least, it lacks the (unwarranted) 'elitism' that characterized SCIP in the past.
