I agree with you August on the technology side. I had a quasi-inside view when I was working with SCIP and I can tell you that a huge problem with getting the website set up was integrating it with the membership management system. I don't know th...

Sad News

I just received an email this morning informing me that Cormac Ryan passed away last Friday after a battle with cancer. Cormac was a long time, active member of SCIP and I had the opportunity to speak with him several times during various events at SCIP, including SCIP08 and the 2007 European Summit in Bad Nauheim. I always enjoyed speaking with him.

A memorial service will be held this Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas.

Thanks for the kind words abut my receiving the Meritorious Award, Jon. It is not the same at those SCIP annual meetings without your presence. You were missed but were certainly not forgotten, and I know I appreciated your many contributions through the years. I'm hoping all remains well with you and thanks for keeping plugged in to the CI community here at Ning.

Jon, your photo always cracks me up and the photos from Bad Nauheim always bring back happy memories, truely a great experience. Hoping that you are settling into the ways of the world at CSI Fletcher. Hoping kids are well, can not imagine that we have a start to the football season already. We only had a month off this year!

No worries, Jon, take it easy and great to hear from you nonetheless! Enjoy the weekend too....perhaps have a look at getting a bigger bike? If you start the day on that, you know it can only get better :-)

Jon Lowder,

Finally found you! Saw the press release stating your CSI/Fletcher appointment, congratulations, but that slide show from Bad Nauheim; brilliant. Sadly a missing element of Rome, my friend, a missing element in Rome.
