There is not much of a literature on pricing in Asia. Much of the work done is from primary collection and analysis.

I have also been working in CI field for over 7 yrs. We do a lot of primary inteligence, helping inetrnational companies to understand China maket; and focus on industrial product mainly, such as machinery and equipment, chemical, electronics, pharma etc.Currently we are working on a project about valves for the moment. I've also been to SCIP conference once and will highly likely to go to Chicago in coming Apr.

Based on the trailers, it's all about corporate espionage - NOT competitive intelligence.
Unfortunately many people will confuse the two - especially as many CI practitioners proudly hark back to their days in the espionage (intelligence) service...
