I don't believe you, Andrew. ;-) You surely know at least the word "amore". :-) Incidentally, what do CI professionals think about the sentence "In un mondo che sa tutto" [Dalida Ciao Amore Ciao (live) (en direct) (Italian version with lyrics) ( htt…

Profile Information

About Me:
Milena Motta has worked in supporting companies in innovation and competitive intelligence since 1982.
Milena has led her global CI consultancy company Strategie&Innovazione (based in Milan, Italy) since 1985, when she started her own business based on her market research background. Today, Milena and her team at S&I work as CI and strategic marketing consultants for Italian and foreign companies.
For more than 20 years Milena has been teaching the use of patents as a key to competitive advantage and helped companies to turn this technical information into knowledge about technology trends and competitors’ acitivity, and to find a proper solution or partner for enhancing the company’s innovation activity.
She had recently been granted the SCIP Fellow Award (Chicago, 2009) and was a SCIP Catalyst Award Winner in 1998.
Milena chaired chaired the 2008 SCIP European Conference held in Rome in October 2008, the 2004 European SCIP Conference in Milan and has been involved in many SCIP conference programme committees.
She founded SCIP Italia in March 1996, and she's still the Coordinator, promoting and managing the international association’s local activities.

Grazie 1000 Milena.

Purtroppo non ero a Roma e non ci conosciamo ancora; mi auguro che una prossima occasione ci dia quest'opportunità :-)

Buon fine settimana anche a lei.

Catherine

PS: Amo tanto l'Italia che mi sono trasferita 7 anni fa; quindi possiamo comunicare in italiano ;-)

I hear you and Ellen and some others took a great boat tour and ate at an Armenian restaurant - sorry I missed it, I had to return because my brother was renewing his vows after 30 years of marriage and there was a large reunion party afterward of my family. I would love to get to Amsterdam, but it depends on what kind of year we have here. So far, so good, so I'll keep my fingers crossed ... Best, Claudia

Ciào Milena: Congrats again on receiving the SCIP Fellows Award in Chicago! It was so nice to be there with you in shared celebration when you received it. I wish for you every continuing success and will look forward to many interactions with you in the years ahead as you continue to do wonderful things for the CI community in Europe and beyond. Kindest regards, Craig

Milena, brilliant to see you here. Likewise, I look forward to meeting up in Rome, 20-22nd October for the 13th European SCIP Summit. Given the content and its structure from Bad Nauheim, it looks to be an exciting event indeed.

Well said Lance! The irony of CI is that, strategically, it's often best to ignore your competition and concentrate on getting your own act together.
