Ken hi I have a small request - if the article doesn't directly link the CI discipline to ..... then why are you? It's you who raise the perception ... the associations you so wish to dispel are in your head. It seems to me that this is one of the…

Here's a small challenge: for all those who seem to think that any process rooted in organizations can exist, flourish, and attract good people WITHOUT at least, having some related academic activity, I'd be curious to hear about such a sub-area. As…

An academic journal is only one part of the map. If we want CI to be taught academically (do we?) and to figure in the management, organizational psychology, international business and other types of (etc etc) discourse, as well as moving beyond ane…

Profile Information

About Me:
I'm originally from the UK, with a background is in physics and optical engineering, and recently completed a management doctorate (at the Swiss University of St Gallen), on "Noticing noticing: the role of noticing in the praxis of Competitive Intelligence", which draws on many disciplines to help us understand better vision-related and other parallels between how we do and don't see, and how organizations do and don't notice their external environments.
I work at a large aerospace company in Israel, and teach CI at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, at Henley Business School in the UK, at the College of Management, in Israel, and elsewhere.

Indeed so, I am in Airport City, also originally from UK. I look forward to participating in many discussions as I begin this daunting process of initiating a CI unit here at Kenes International. I will no doubt be seeking any advice that professionals such as yourself would be able to give me. In fact one such question is how to I convince my superiors that membership of SCIP would be a good start?

Hello Michael. Would you be interested in participating in a webinar on a European time zone? The UK has secured the content through the great Tim Powell and a very recession centric issue, namely Bottom Line ROI. What conditions would make it appeal to a your local conditions in Israel? Welcome your response, Michael and enjoy the day.

Dear Michael
do you have any background material / url with regard to the HSG doctorate you're mentioning? I'm very interested to find out more about CI courses on a university level in Europe.
Kind regards from Switzerland
Robert

Hi Michael,

Nice to meet you in Lisbon last week! I was very pleased to listen to your presentation. I am wondering if you would participate in my forum. I think that your "view" of Intelligence will make a significant contribution.

Welcome!
Hopefully we can all meet up in Rome in the autumn for SCIP Europe. In the meantime, there is the CI meeting this Thursday and Friday in Lisbon, organized by Atelis and CEGE - I'll be presenting there, and the program looks very promising.
Regards
Michael
